About Dr. Clay
Dr. Anthony Clay is a board-certified cardiologist with expertise in general and nuclear cardiology, and a clinical interest in research. He completed his medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and both his residency and fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital.
Dr. Clay has been widely recognized for his contributions to cardiovascular medicine and the broader community. He is a former Governor for the State of Delaware chapter of the American College of Cardiology and a former President of the American Heart Association for Delaware. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and has been named a Top Doctor by Delaware Today magazine and Philadelphia Magazine.
Away from medicine, Dr. Clay is married to his wife, Bernadette, and is the proud father of three sons and three wonderful daughter-in-laws. He is an avid basketball player and rower, enjoys movies and travel, and is a member of the National Ski Patrol at Camelback in Pennsylvania.
