About Dr. Zhang
Dr. Yuanyuan Zhang is a board-certified cardiologist with dual certification in internal medicine and cardiology, and additional credentials in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and lipidology. She earned her medical degree from Shandong Medical University in Jinan, China, and pursued her residency training at Weill Cornell Medical College/New York Downtown Hospital and her cardiology fellowship through Jefferson Medical College and the Christiana Care Health System. She is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin).
Dr. Zhang's clinical interests include heart disease in women, chronic care management, and preventive lipid management.
Born in China, Dr. Zhang moved to the United States to pursue her research and clinical training in cardiology. She now lives in Delaware with her husband and daughter. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling and reading.
