About Dr. Sunnergren

Dr. Kenneth Sunnergren is a cardiologist with broad expertise in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker and device implants, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, stress testing, and vascular test interpretation. He earned his B.S. from the University of Miami, and his M.D. and Ph.D. from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He completed his internal medicine residency at The Medical College of Virginia and his cardiology fellowship at The University of Texas.

Dr. Sunnergren is board certified by the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Over the course of his career, he has served in numerous appointed leadership roles in the Departments of Cardiology at Beebe Medical Center, the Episcopal Heart Institute in Philadelphia, and Cooper Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.
